D-J-Qualls

Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion model and actor American actor. After gaining fame through his work on Road Trip he has since been featured in more than 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. Also, he has been on over 22 television shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has been fighting Hodgkin's Lymphoma since he was 14 years old. After two years of treatment the cancer is now into Remission. However, the treatment at this early stage had a severe effect on his body, and hindered his growth. When he began acting, financial security seemed to be his goal because his experience with poverty had been a part of his childhood. He said in an interview that he stated that if I do not have financial stability or I find myself feeling out of control in the world, I'll be unhappy. The man also recalls his childhood to motivate him. He is a victim of cruelty and hurts him to the core. He says that his ideal character would be a dad in both the real world and on film. Yet he confesses "Directors don't cast my in those roles." One day he'd love to have a child so that he could devote less time on his career in order to spend more time with the newborn.
